iPhone Apps to keep you updated with road conditions
We all know that we should stay at home unless it’s absolutely critical to travel in these dangerous winter conditions, but if you have to travel here are a couple of iPnone apps that can keep you informed.
The first is “Travel News” which is an app released by Directgov and powered by Transport Direct information. This gives you the option to search by area, transport type and delay type, so will also help out with rail and bus problems.
The second app is “Traffic Info” which simply lists all the major road problems in the UK. Just slide through the list by road number and tap for more detailed information or hit the “Map” button and be shown a Google Map of the UK with pins denoting the main problem areas.
Both are free so try them out. They may just give you the edge.
