Jeep® is offering off-road enthusiasts the opportunity to build their own ‘bespoke’ Wrangler with the launch of a Special Order Programme, designed to give customers greater individuality for their cars.
Customers can now order a new two-door Wrangler or four-door Wrangler Unlimited in a number of colour, trim and engine combinations, and with a range of extras including a 3.73 axle ratio for rock crawling, electronic front sway bar disconnect and an electronic locking rear axle.

Jeep® has launched a new special edition Wrangler in the UK – the Wrangler Ultimate – which will make this iconic 4×4 stand out from the crowd.
Based on the 2.8-litre CRD Sahara model and available with a five-speed automatic transmission, the ‘Wrangler Ultimate’ features 18 inch alloy wheels, sunscreen glass, leather-trimmed interior, and unique ‘Wrangler Ultimate’ badging. Only 200 models will initally be available in the UK from the 1st March, and it will come in one colour, black.

Jeep® has dominated the winners’ podium by claiming first place in three of 4×4 Magazine’s six award categories – Extreme, SUV and Budget 4×4 of the Year.
4×4 Magazine reviewed the top 4×4s on sale in the UK for their annual ‘4×4 of the Year 2010’ test at Baden Hall, near Eccleshall. The award categories were Budget, Family, SUV, Pick-Ups, Luxury and Extreme.
Hils Everitt, Editor of 4×4 Magazine, said: “This year’s test was reduced to the top 20 4×4s currently on sale in the UK so that we could concentrate on those 4×4s that still retain some credibility as true all-rounders. Our criteria was simple: that vehicles should be powered by a diesel engine and offer some form of sophisticated off-road ability.”
