Following on from the recent launch of the all-new Picanto city car Kia is introducing a three-door version to the line-up for the first time since the model appeared in 2004. The distinctively styled three-door version, with a new range of trim levels, will go on sale in the UK from 1st September.
The three-door Picanto has a unique, sporty character while still managing to deliver the same, seemingly contradictory, upgrades as the more family-focused five-door: stronger performance with lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, the safety and luxury features of a large car without an outrageous price tag, and practicality within a compact package. The all new Kia Picanto which went all sale on Friday 17th June, is the first Kia vehicle to be available with the company’s new all inclusive national servicing package. Customers can now add a three or five year service package to a Picanto purchase.
The Care-3 package is just £259 including VAT, which covers the first three services – either 36 months or 30,000 miles or the Care-3 Plus package is just £499 including VAT which covers the first five services – either 60 months or 50,000 miles. Read more…

Kia Motors UK Ltd., has introduced a new top line pro_cee’d to its family car line up.
Surpassing the existing pro_cee’d ‘3’, the facelifted pro_cee’d ‘4’ features the Schreyer grille and a new higher output 1.6-litre diesel engine producing 126bhp @ 6,200rpm – 13bhp above the current engine. Top speed is 122mph and 0-60 acceleration in just over 10 seconds. Read more…
Making its world premiere at the Seoul Motor Show today (Thursday), the Kia Naimo electric concept car combines Korean heritage with innovative modern features.
Taking its name from the Korean word “Ne-mo”, (pronounced ‘Neh-mo’, meaning ‘square shape’), the Naimo electric crossover utility vehicle (CUV) was conceived by Kia’s international design team in Seoul, and is characterised principally by its simple lines and solid, muscular stance.
