KTM has reduced the price on a host of its popular machines for 2012.
The move from the Austrian factory, which goes against recent trends from other manufacturers, even applies to the new 690 Duke, available in the UK from February 2012.
The new 690cc single cylinder features more than 90% of new components to make it significantly better for real world riding in 2012. More affordable in terms of running costs with better fuel economy and longer durations between servicing, acquisition is also less at £6595 – a reduction of £650 over the outgoing model.
The 990 Supermoto R has also received a price decrease for 2012. The class-leading, big bore supermoto, has been reduced by £950 to make it £9295 on the road. Detail changes to the specification of the machine has made the list price change possible, but with KTM engineers working hard to ensure the riding experience isn’t in any way sacrificed.
