On 5th September 2012 fifty supercars driven by a myriad of celebrities and prestige car owners will embark on a 2,000 mile journey over five days taking them from London to Paris, via Barcelona, Monte Carlo and Milan, raising funds for children’s charity Dreams Come True (www.dctc.org.uk).
James Bond fans visiting the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (15 to 17 June; www.cpop.co.uk) will be left shaken and stirred at this year’s event, as organisers have confirmed that a thrilling line-up of genuine Bond cars will be on display. In association with the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, who are hosting the Bond in Motion exhibition that celebrates 50 years of the iconic British spy’s presence on the silver screen, the 2012 Pageant will showcase some of the machinery that starred alongside Pierce Brosnan.
From the 26th - 27th May 2012, the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu is playing host to Trucks & Troops. A nostalgic show with something for all the family to enjoy staged by the South Hampshire Area of the Military Vehicle Trust. It celebrates the development of military transport, combat vehicles and soldiering through the ages.
Beaulieu is pleased to announce that the 2012 dates for its popular Custom event will be 16th & 17th June. One of the newer events on the Beaulieu calendar, it has in four years, rapidly expanded to a colourful gathering of over 600 vehicles on the Sunday Drive-In day.
For 2012 the event is expanding under a new name, Custom & Hot Rod Festival, to include a custom motorcycle element as well as custom cars. Beaulieu is delighted to announce that the Custom Motorcycle Show, held for the first time in Bournemouth earlier this year, will be moving permanently to Beaulieu to join the event. Hundreds of world class custom motorcycles will be on show including over 70 bikes entering the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building. There will also be hundreds of trade stands including custom bike dealers, custom accessories and hard parts, plus the Vendors and Merchandise Village and a Ride-In on both days of the show.
