Top Gear presenter and notorious scourge of the caravan industry Jeremy Clarkson last night outed himself in front of millions of viewers across the world by saying something positive about a caravan – an Airstream travel trailer to be precise.
Hollywood movie star and Airstream owner Andy Garcia was enthusing about his 34 foot “silver bullet” trailer, in reply to which Jeremy openly admitted that Airstreams “look very good”.
However, just as Airstream enthusiasts the world over were jumping off their sofas in premature celebration, he wrongly added that owners of Airstream travel trailers must use a bucket for certain bodily functions.He didn’t say it exactly like that, but we don’t want to shock you, gentle professionals of the Fourth Estate.
We would just like to take this opportunity to point out that all European specification Airstreams don’t just look good but feature spacious bathrooms, extensively equipped with the finest porcelain bathroom fixtures.
